Fishin Prints AI-generated bull trout reference and print example

From catch photo to custom fish print.

Fishin Prints wanted a faster way to create custom fish artwork without asking the customer to wait through a slow, manual back-and-forth. The new workflow lets a customer submit one or two catch photos, then uses AI to understand the fish and prepare the artwork process for the team.

The agent reviews the image, pulls out the details an artist would normally have to inspect by hand, and turns that into a clear production brief: species cues, body shape, colors, markings, fins, tail details, and anything missing from the photo.

That brief then drives the image-generation workflow. Instead of starting from scratch on every order, the team gets a repeatable path from photo to print-ready artwork. This cuts down the time and cost required to produce each piece and gives customers a smoother experience from upload to approval.

How it works

Two parts: a reviewing agent and a repeatable path.

The agent handles the judgment that used to require an artist's eye. The automation makes sure every order takes the same route.

The agent

The agent acts like the first production reviewer. It looks at the customer photo, identifies what matters about the fish, and creates a brief the team can trust before artwork is generated.

The automation

The automation carries each order through the same steps: upload, image review, production brief, AI artwork generation, human review, and final export. That consistency is what reduces production time and improves the customer experience.

Work with altr

Your production workflow can run the same way.

If your team repeats the same review-and-produce loop on every order, that path can be built once and reused. We scope, build, and hand it over.
